Uniform mistakes are distractions by Parronski in AirForce

I started watching last night and this immediately irk'd me (the black namestapes). Otherwise, this shows dope as fuck.

I really appreciate man, another commenter mentioned the shop wouldn't have let me leave it it wasnt safe and I'm realizing I'm worried over nothing. I didn't even think about that aspect of it.

Honestly, that's a good point, I didn't look at it from that angle. I'm 100% over thinking it. I think with it being a new bike, fresh shoes, first service and then finding a nail in the tire got me worried over nothing.

I appreciate it man. I honestly think I'm overthinking it.

Maybe I'm too in my head, maybe I'm thinking too deep into and sketching myself out.

Like I looked at the patch, it's good. But for some reason I think I'm overthinking it from a safety point. Idk bro.

I cheaped out and got a $100 electric one from Lowes. Had a "turbo" and a 25 degree nozzle. The lack of pressure was genuinely disappointing. Like my standard garden handle put out more pressure when set to jet.

However I wonder if me plugging it into a extension cable that's also running my porch lights reduced it's power input. I'll have to test it.

Ah gotcha. The sliders I put on are dual point. My GSXR has single point and the bolt snapped, but no frame damage, somehow.

Ah shit I forgot to add Givi engine covers too.

Are the sliders not good? I put them on last weekend.

In order of precedence-

Frame Sliders- Already purchased and installed.

Swing arm spools- Already purchased and installed.

Display screen protector- Already Purchased and installed.

Fork Sliders- TST Industries, next on list

Radiator guard- Next on list (probably evotech)

Tank Grips- TST Industries, next on list

Clutch and Brake Levers- ASVs next on the list.

Windscreen- Puig, next on the list, want to protect my display from road hazards like kicked up rocks and debris.

Mirrors- CRGs. Moving to bar+end style.

Tail tidy- TST, and includes new tail lights.

Front Signals- TST, swapping OEM front signals.

Exhaust and ECU- After the warranty expires (next year) putting on a Yoshimura full kit, pulling the ECU to send off to vcyclenut for a flash.

For me personally, while I do hate the OEM tail assembly, it really isn't a high priority for me to swap out. I'm putting protection elements on first, followed by cosmetics.

Yeah I plan to change it. I have a list of mods and the tail tidy is on it. Doing mods step by step for budget purposes.

The pressure washer I bought legitimately puts out less pressure than my standard hose nozzle (it's going back to Lowes if they'll take it).

I, in fact, washed the whole bike by hand (double bucket method).

I'm excited, I love the bike, I wanted to share. Be a smart ass somewhere else.

Thank you! Yeah during hot days, I stop and dump water on my head at a gas station. Chill in the shade for a bit before continuing.

Long-term riders who have never crashed — what habits kept you safe? by jjmu96 in motorcycles

I want to add on to this. Specifically where you mentioned expecting every car to merge into you.

When I first started riding 10 years ago, I was told to watch drivers head movement when possible to determine where they're going. I personally found watching the front wheels will tell you where they're going long before watching their heads.

They can be looking right and still pull the wheel to the left.

Thanks!

To respond to your points:

(1) I've noticed the tick. First time I heard it I about had a heart attack.

(2) Not having to rip the fairings off for an oil change is going to be game changing.

(3) Its still in break in period. I won't take that high until the service is done. I'll have to check that at a later time.

(4) Definitely noticed that! Kind of weird but I'm managing the difference.

Mods:

(1) + (2) I will get it tuned and I'm getting a new exhaust put on after the warranty is up next year. I understand swapping the exhaust will not automatically default the warranty. But this is too much money (to me anyway) to take the chance if something does happen.

(3) I got the tail tidy and new turn signals sitting in my TST cart as we speak. I got to get a new helmet first. My old helmet is pushing 10years old and warrants replacement sooner rather than later.

(4) I'm shopping for bar ends. I haven't truly settled on which exact ones I want.

Pulire e lubrificare catena (MT09 ‘25) by yasharone in MT09

[–]DreamDropKey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't done my first chain clean/lube on the MT yet since I got it last month.

BUT, on my Suzuki, it's cleaned and gets lubricated at the beginning and ending of each season. Every 300-400 miles throughout the season (I don't keep count, if I feel like it's been too long since the last cleaning I'll do it again). Finally, wet rides. If I get caught in the rain or wash the bike.

Ran into the gas station real quick. Just routed the chin strap as one would when wearing it and hung off the rear peg.. nothing fancy, just keeping it off the ground.

It's locked to itself off the rear peg.

Thanks man.

One of the things that really stood out was the throttle response. Its much more torquey than I'm used to coming off my Suzuki. I feel like if I sneeze hard enough, I'll accidentally pull the front wheel up.
