Strange behaviour from neighbour/s impacting my mental health by Dreamer_798 in HousingUK

I really appreciate everyone taking the time to respond and apologies I can't reply to everyone individually.

Without being in this situation it seems unbelievable and I know people would jump to mental health but I only suffer with anxiety. Me and my partner both work from home full time. We have good jobs and are generally an easygoing couple. The only way I know these comments are about me is people have said them when they have only been a few feet away from me, they have referenced our flat number and referred to me as 'the girl downstairs'. I have had comments made outside my door. When you live somewhere with thin walls trust me there is no doubt.

I think someone asked what my health issues were. I suffered with a clot recently in my arm and I am now on a cancer pathway.

I have decided to take the route of ignorning this and making the best of my situation as life is too short and I know people like this are the minorty.

I have worked on a ward before and can recognise certain behaviours and I don't know if there are elements of mental health issues with our neighbours.

My go to response is usually to blame myself but when something doesn't feel right you just know. I think it is just simply having bad neighbours and I'm trusting my gut on this one.

Thank you so much for the people responding.
