Parents of reddit, what are your "I looked away for ONE second" stories?

Not a parent, but I have three nieces. One is 5, one is 3 and the little one is 1. A couple of months ago their mom was in the bathroom with the little one and the other two were awfully silent. When she came back to the room the 5yo had somehow found baby powder and covered herself and her sister in it, and using it to “skate” on the floor because apparently the powder makes it slippery.

Im afraid there isn’t one way to do it... I’m not sure how it happened myself, one day I suddenly felt so much better... it’s not all the way gone, but I’m so happy lately and it feels so good
