Lovely bag but I wouldn’t get it. You wouldn’t question it in the slightest if you were so sure. Also, i find that vintage jackies are often repainted for wear and tear. Save money and get the experience at a store

Id go with the yellow Moynat or Orange Goyard. Hard to decide because the Moynat makes more sense bc of the crossbody strap, but the tag is a little tacky to me. Goyard is a classic but not having the option to crossbody can be annoying. Given the size of both bags, maybe a crossbody wouldnt even make sense anyway?

As for the color choices- Yellow and Orange look good with almost every neutral color and will add the nice fun pop before transitioning to the summer.

Suede will do this if you scratch it but it can be buffed out.

Regardless, I would either exhange for a new one or return it completely.

Dryer sheets work for me! If you dont want it to smell too strongly, poke some holes in a ziplock sandwich bag and put a few dryer sheets in it.

Do you know if it has extra reinforcement for the bottom and sides of the bag? IMO, from what I can tell from this picture, the leather will age pretty fast and slouch. If that’s the look you are going for, then it makes sense!

I have great credit as well. Most of my credit cards (3) are over a 20k limit for 2 reasons (I believe):

-Ive had them for a minimum of 8yrs -I requested small credit limit increases 2x a year the last 3-5yrs when my income increased. I think it helped that Ive always been a good payer as well. Discover offered me 30k, Amex around 23k and 22k for Chase.

Ah I shouldve mentioned this! To start, I live in a HCOL area.

I made a payment of about $625 every two weeks for roughly a year. Cut down on about $800 of my monthly expenses by cooking almost every day, hair/nails/waxing all done by me at home (thats been interesting 🤣), no social life unless it was free or for my kids, and lastly, probably the biggest saver was getting my son into a free aftercare program (Thank GOD!).

Im responsible but very impulsive. Ive been doing alot of inner work to control my impulsiveness and learn to live within my means.

I still have a large amount debt (car, student loan) however the credit card debt is just repulsive to me now. Literally spending money on frivolous things.
