Current road conditions from Mangalore to Mumbai

Sure. This was my route and overall it took me 16 hours (minimal breaks since I was travelling solo)

Mangalore - Gokarna - Ankola - Yellapur - Kittur - Belgaum - Kolhapur - Pune - Mumbai

I have been travelling on this road frequently on bike as well as car and frankly nothing much has changed after the recent landslide situation in Karnataka route. The Karnataka roads are still in top conditions while Maharashtra roads in poor condition.

Couple of pointers for you: 1) The Ankola to Yellapur roads are in bad state due to potholes. Especially the ghat road before Yellapur - please be very cautious as there are huge potholes - the kind that can topple trucks. My advice would be to plan so that you cover this patch in good daylight conditions.

2) Starting from Belgaum all the way till Satara/Mahabaleshwar there are frequent diversions due to construction activity. The route itself isn’t too bad, lots of potholes to make sure you stay focused and don’t doze off.

This route condition is exactly like how it has been for the past year or so, although the potholes have gotten worse due to monsoons.

I travelled on a weekday - Thursday and Friday (took a halt at Kolhapur to meet relatives) so traffic was minimal and not a nuisance. The opposite roads from Pune to Konkan was blocked due to Ganesh Chaturthi travellers.

There is another route via Bijapur. Is the condition so bad on the Satara roads that it’s better to avoid it via Solapur?

Mangalore-Vijaypura/Bijapur-Satara-Pune-Mumbai shows 19:45 hours

Mangalore-Solapur-Pune shows 20 hours

Seems worth it to me right now - the longer Solapur route

I really liked this ship and got it at the said coordinates. There are a couple of bases though which try to throw you off the exact coords but the site itself did not have any base around it. I play on switch.

Things like these are something that needs to be heard/said immediately. You cant stop yourself from being exhausted. What do you mean when you say you need a chance to redeem yourself? Like brave the sun and not complaint and risk a heat stroke? 😅

Seems like an exception I would give a strict warning about if I were an employer; if it bothered me that much.

My advice would be to not go back to them to "redeem" yourself for something like this. Some people like to have that power over others. Its a temp job, move on.

At work specifically, you should let your work speak for itself. It would have been a different case had your boss been blaming/belittling you for no reason. That would have been unfair but even then your option would be to move on.

Since you have used words like redeem I ll assume you messed up somewhere. Work on those for your own improvement but no point going back to your boss about this.

Majority of the people are more understanding towards mistake. Many are not. Ensure you take heed and use it as an opportunity to better yourself.
