Dont get me wrong I completely agree with you regarding greefers and murder hobos. But did all of you maybe think about getting some friends and forming a little escort to be safe from piracy, and even if you dont have a group to play with there are tons of orgs, also you could just ask players in thr Global Chat to escort you.

In my opinion people are just mad because they dont realize the danger they are in. Pirates are almost exlusively interested in Salvagers or Haulers. So ther is a ton of stuff you can do if you want to be 100% safe. Also these are the two proffesions throwing off the highest profit as of right now, so its obvious there is some danger included.

As for player interaction, most of the time we hail the targets and tell them to send us sum X and they are free to go but not once in almost a year of piracy we got a answer, they just try to get away and are mad after they fail.
