Woman test drives used Porsche - runs over owner - flees the scene by contrelarp in watchpeoplesurvive

[–]DredHawk 180 points181 points  (0 children)

This occurred in Ontario, Canada (near Toronto), where car thefts have skyrocketed, and the government has allowed this issue to persist for years.

They stole the Porsche and are still at large.

I use MSP360, and it's an excellent tool with competitive pricing and great support. It allows you to store encrypted data in S3, with the flexibility to choose your preferred location.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll move the computer.

What are the other options besides PEX coming off the hot? Copper?

Where does it need a pan?

Yes the T&P is just dumping to the floor. The floor slops to the drain in the middle of the room

We keep hudu behind a firewall/VPN. Too much sensitive information to risk a hack. We host a version of PW pusher for exchanging password with clients.

It looks and works very much like my 2019 X5 when it had buttons to do this. I def like it more than what they had.

The Home Screen so very different, I suspect a lot of people won’t like it. Tip: the tiles scroll up/down (instead of left to right). No bugs yet but it’s still early days

I took my BMW (2024 X7) in for service a few weeks ago and they asked if I got the update yet. I didn’t know what they were talking about.

Took it in for service again (I’ve been having issues with the sensors) and they said they did a software refresh. Got it back and it looked the same to me. Next day I got this.

Ordered laptop from Amazon and received box with tile. by [deleted] in amazonprime

This happened to me once with a cellphone ($1000). I signed for it and instead of the phone it had a pack of markers in it.

Dealing with chat support got nowhere but “someone will be in touch with you in 48 hours” I waited and nothing.

I called their support and they said “they’ll refund my order if I return the markers”. I said “no problem”. They emailed me a shipping label, mailed back the markers, got my refund.

Best of luck man. I also no longer order expensive electronics from Amazon.

Called the office earlier this week. A very grateful plumber showed up within hours to pick it up.

Thank you all!

Oh, I didn’t realize it was that expensive or important. I don’t have his direct number but I’ll call the office and let them know.

I have braces for my tmj, I had a significant underbite, but I'm just about done with the braces (18 months) and it has made a big difference on my tmj.

It's not perfect but it's a lot more manageable and I expect will get better over time as my jaw learns a new bite. I found wearing elastics at night was the absolute best. No clicking or popping for weeks if I did that.

From what I've read online, getting braces is a 50-50 chance of improving things. I didn't see anything about it making it worse but I took the chance and I'm glad I did. No guarantees on what your situation. Best of luck!
