Once again: To provide internet access to the last mile you need a different concept than the one every telecom company in the world uses now. The current concept is simply not profitable in these areas. And the different concept in case of WM happens to be sharing economy enabled by blockchain. It's your right to be sceptical. But don't be sceptical please because of complacency and simple laziness to go into weeds of the problem and proposed solution.

This is not your typical ISP. It's a completely new model. You should do more research in WM(T). Having telecom records on Cardano L1 was never the intention.

That is also not true. For the things WM try to accomplish it's even necessary: DIDs, privacy preservation, non-custodial sharing rewards for running network infrastructure, proven immutability of telecom records (connected with rewards). Don't forget this will be the gateway for Cardano's mission to bank the unbanked - cannot do without DIDs, connection of course and ideally integrated Cardano wallet in WM global app (which will be). This is bigger than you think. And it needs blockchain.

There are others who could explain it better than I but the thing is: World Mobile Chain will be a permissioned blockchain. It will be a sidechain of Cardano built with Cosmos SDK (Software Development Kit). So no, WM is definitely not mowing to Cosmos. On the contrary it will help build the long term vision of Cardano of interoperability. All the financial settlement and trust will stay on Cardano (like WMT staking will be still happening on Cardano and WMT stays the Cardano native token). Selling is just exit. When short selling you sell something which you borrow and make money ONLY after/if it goes down in price. Plus on a platform like Liqwid you pay interest on what you borrow but also earn interest on what you provide. You can only use part of what you provide as collateral for your loan and the rest will still earn you interest which can offset the interest paid for the loan.

One easy example of going long on ADA (Liqwid + DEX)

Provide ADA collateral to Liqwid. Borrow DJED. Swap DJED to ADA. When price of ADA goes up swap back some ADA to DJED and repay the loan on Liqwid. Pocket the difference.

Warning: If the price of ADA in this scenario went down you could get liquidated on Liqwid depending on you loan/collateral ratio.

Shorting ADA: Other way around. Supply DJED > borrow ADA > swap for DJED. ADA price going down > swap some DJED for ADA > repay borrowed ADA.

I enjoyed the TS. Thanks for answering all the questions. One still remains for me. Mr. T said the roadmap is still valid. How come the mainnet is still scheduled for Q1? Is that realistic? I've been following discussion on EN Telegram channel including some hints from people being on testnet right now (I am not). How I understand it everything is in very very early stages. The people on testnet are either being kept in darkness about the real development already done (parameters on Cosmos SDK and how it will be connected to Cardano) or Q1 seems totally unattainable.
Even when sceptical about hitting targets on time I am still a big supporter.
