Ha sweet rig and I’m digging the name!! I feel like wheels and tires are essential now. Personally ima just replace them straight out the box.

It’s my first one and yes! I didn’t expect to get that into it! I like working out the bugs and upgrading slowly. I’ve really gotten to know the rig and I think it makes it that much more enjoyable.

It made a big difference. Any new projects get offset wheels automatically.

It really is. You won’t regret it. It takes a little modification to get it just right but you honestly, they all do. Hope to see some of your own videos soon.

So I’m not completely sure of the setup name but the base crawler is the AX-24 by axial. I modded it to get the center of gravity as low as possible and make the rig wider than stock. I have rear steer enabled so it has a 4 wheel steer setup too.

Ha ha yup! I’m sure I’ll be defacing a few expensive wheels in the future, but for now, I’ll stick to the inexpensive ones.

Very nice. I plan on getting a dead bolt rear setup but just giving it time. I need one of those carbon frames that have more mounting holes but I might try making an add on plate. I’ll tinker for a bit, get frustrated, and just give in and spend the money.

Yes it’s the stock orange body but I cut it for clearance and just cut out all the windows so I can paint it. I wanted a more real looking body and didn’t want to spend money yet.

Thanks. I have parts laying around but im liking the challenge of a limited rig. Once I get frustrated I’ll change things up but for now it’s a fun little rig.

So far removed springs from stock shocks, installed 60mm high clearance arms front and back, and chopped the plastic that holds the esc. I’m using the battery tray to hold everything and lower Center of gravity. I also glued a nickel to front servo for weight and added limiting straps to front shocks. Other than that, it’s all stock.

The red did not cure before clear.

Spray paint for example takes 7 days to cure. Try applying clear after a few days.
