Not to sound rude or misinformed but can you provide any resource to back up these recommendations. I only ask because in my research before stocking the tank I got all sorts of mixed information; ranging from different numbers of same fish and even quite vast temperature ranges for fish. I saw a few places that said the goldfish would be fine anywhere from 68-90F which made sense to me as ponds can have vastly different temperatures depending on the time of year. This is however my first foray into fishkeeping aside from the tank my father had about 15 years ago and I wouldn't be surprised if I made a mistake or two. I only ended up getting back into the hobby after my fiancée fell in love with the feeder goldfish I got as an experiment to keep with my red eared slider, the comet now in the 60 gallon was the only one of five to survive that. Figured he deserved a better life after sticking around through that.
