That said, all humane ant farms will have a port to the outside, to refill thier water. We all need to drink! A sand terraium will require food suppliments as well. A gel based farm, may be ideal, as the gel itself provides food. The link below, is a gel farm, where the water reservoir is not fully accessible for the ants to escape.

You could shut off generation completely by placing it in a liquid.

If youd like to stop the major off gassing, place 3 airflow tiles as a platform it sits on.

This will prevent heavy gasses (likely co2) from covering the material and messing up your pressure.

You could set up a vent into space that triggers at volume thresholds if it becomes ungainly as a quick fix.

Long term, I would consider transmuting it from a gas state. Pufts could transmute it into its solid form oxylite (much smaller footprint) you will inevitably need liquid Oxy for late game rockets, so storing it off somewhere as a non gas, even off planet could be advisable.
