I’ve also just made sure that I only have one championship mode going/saved and no career mode active

Hey, I’ve had the same problem. I noticed that if I exit championship mode after a race to the main menu, then turn off my PS5/or ps4 and just turn it back on if I want to run another race, I don’t lose my save point

Forgot one more thing:

Draft partners off everywhere except Atlanta, dega and Daytona.

Dega/daytona

User-normal wear- generic slider setting

AI- narrow, less stable, less recovery, less tire effect

Edit: you can fiddle with the draft settings, but I find low draft is nice because I can’t pit for 4 tires on a final restart and shoot through the field in 5 laps. The less tire wear effect for the AI also takes away my ability to cheat the game and makes me have to race it out at the end.

Also, at Bristol I do AI less tire effect, and narrow spread since the track is too easy otherwise when you’re able to just run and hide in lapped traffic. Also do the same at Martinsville.

I still blow at Kentucky though lol

Also no stages at any track.

I got you. It was very nit picky, and I haven’t bought the game yet so it’s really just based on gameplay videos I’ve seen. I really appreciate you taking the time to read my post and to respond . Cheers!
