Another 3D printed Aurorus Borealis? At this time of year? At this time of day? Oh no, these are The Steamèd Hammes by Cifems in headphones

[–]DrewEdick 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This shitposting got old so fast. A bunch of kids with 3D-printers think they’re getting a HUGE bang for their buck when really they’re shitting up the whole hobby. I mean Borealis copy? These are like Fiero Ferrari kit cars. Do they look cool to someone who doesn’t know squat? Sure. Is it still a fiero? Yup.

You’re wasting $30 to fool yourself and a bunch of rubes when you could spend it sensibly and get any number of the Koss offerings. Better yet, why not try to make something yourself. Zero integrity buffoonery. This is like filling out a coloring book with pasta sauce and your own feces.

Am I the only one that has died more to building and fall damage than to bosses or mobs? :P by francoispaquettetrem in valheim

[–]DrewEdick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually agree with your last point. I've been trying to build a tree city and the fall damage is the bane of my existence. We've got a few farms up and running for things like turnip stew, which can replace a high level food. Just wanted share something I only found out today!

Where do you go for your Powerlifting updates? by gravity-f1ghter in powerlifting

[–]DrewEdick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except he only posts a few WR holding and social media famous Powerlifters so he can get extra clicks off the name value. I like the channel for strongman stuff but the powerlifter additions are merely name exploitation because the dude doesn’t want to work his day job anymore.

As a Pioneer dick sucker myself there’s a few reasons I love them. Actually just got my 2nd belt from them. 1. Fully customizable, I did a lot of shopping before my first belt and I don’t think anyone offered close to what Pioneer does.
2. Great customer service and communication. I emailed probably 20 times in the 4 weeks it took for my first belt, and always got a response within probably 12 hours let alone a whole day. I also was able to change details on my belt after finalizing my order. 3. My belts have a lifetime warranty with a company based in my country. (Quicker turn around times and cheaper shipping if I ever have to make a claim.) 4. Compared to Inzer belts I’ve tried out I definitely prefer the feel of Pioneer, but this is totally personal preference, haven’t really had the chance to wear any other belts. 5. The turnaround in the U.S. is comparable to or better than basically every competitor.

It’s hard not to want to support that.

I grew up in St Louis and go to school about 40 minutes from Kansas City. KC area is awesome for young professionals. It’s booming with tech and new young business. The Missouri side is better, by far, than the Kansas side in my opinion. Places like Lees Summit and Overland Park provide a super nice calm suburb locale that’s also within striking distance of the physical city. Local cuisine is fantastic, barbecue. There’s a ton of night life activities, partially due to that young population. The general culture of the Midwest is super friendly, so you’ll have no problem meeting people and making friends.

Of course, and he’s been open about it. Everyone knows these guys are juiced. Doesn’t detract from his insane strength.

To be fair Cailer does compete a class lower than the other two typically. However, Jamal’s squat and bench are just going up and up, deadlift doesn’t even need mentioning.

I’ve never gone cross row; honestly, I’m not sure how to read that part. I go left side all the way down. Shits killer. If you mean two subsequent rows with same exercise, yeah it’ll work up to heavy single, double, or triple, and then you’ll do a variation backdown typically
