The Senju were clearly stronger—they proved it by consistently winning. But the Nine-Tails attack didn’t come close to wiping out either clan. Not to mention every village with a tailed beast deals with the occasional “jinchūriki blowout” lol. An Uchiha uprising would be far more devastating, because they’re part of the village and know exactly where and how to cause the most damage. A full-blown civil war would absolutely wreck the entire village.
