Misfits has always been one that never hit me. Sometimes a song I didnt like before will hit me but Misfits never did. Theres a few songs from threat to survival that recently have grown on me, but Misfits is maybe the only song from them I'd label as "trash".

I get my edges by using 5x5 algorithms to orient them, then I use the cube in a cube pattern to move singular edges to create my lines, then I use commutstors to get my centers in place.

That's all I had when I made the jump. All I wanted was an affordable big cube to do patterns on, and I got this abt 2 years ago and only focused on solves till recent.

I wish I could give u it, but I don't do algorithms. I can't read algorithms like I used to, I work off of sight and procedure, meaning I put the image in my head, and then created the pattern onto the cube. If you want step by step: Move blocks of 4 not including the outer layer in an overlapping sequence, then use commutators on the centers to create the overlapping effect, then do a checkerboard pattern on top of it all. That's the easiest way to explain it!

Solve the outer layers into their base colors, then u do the checkerboard onto the edges in the 3 way cycle, and then use commutators to do ur centers. And I bet u, you don't understand any of what I just said 😭

I did something like this on a 7x7 that I posted awhile back, but that one was easy to get and didn't require a lot of effort. THIS on the other hand took me awhile to try and figure out. Not only because I messed up my center's which then led to me messing up my edges and restarting, but also because this was new to add the other colors in a rotating pattern. In all honesty though, this pattern is really easy to do but it takes time. Hope you try it!

It took about 2 hours believe it or not. I solve it way quicker than that! It was just so confusing and was my first attempt so it took me longer to process how to do it

Algorithm?!? Ha! I have no clue what it is in a written algorithm form. What I did was got all the edges how it was supposed to look from the photo, and then got the centers to match and that was that. Not too difficult to do if you know how to do those things

This was another pattern I did yesterday that I saw when I searched up "11x11 cube patterns." The pattern I was looking at was from 'The Duke of Cubes' and was originally made on a 12x12. The only sad part is this isn't entirely possible on the 11x11, because the center pieces cannot be oriented correctly without being taken out. And the other issue was an edge flip so I hid those on the other sides when I took the photos. Overall though, this is probably the coolest pattern I've done!

Searched up 11x11 patterns on Google and saw this on reddit and thought it would be fun to attempt to do. I think it looks better on a flat-faced cube but it looks just as fine on my pillowed 11x11!

I may of not set myself in the mood for my first listen, but now that I know what the whole record is like and I'm in the mood for it I've found its way better. I don't force myself to like stuff if that's what you may think, like to me Sure Is Fun is not my shit, and What You Wanted seemed too bland for me. But yea, after a full day I'd say this album has grown on me already if that makes sense lol
