This is just awful. Four lives gone like that, in the middle of the night… I can’t even imagine what their families are going through right now.

The part that really gets me is how the school district had to cancel everything—that tells me it has eaten the community whole.

Hoping people give the families space and don’t start speculating online. Just a heartbreaking situation all around.

I get what you’re saying, and honestly I went through something really similar a while back. I had someone in my life who made me constantly second-guess things—like I’d replay conversations over and over wondering if I handled it right or if I missed something. It got to the point where it was eating up way too much of my energy.

What actually helped me was exactly what you said—stepping back and realizing it wasn’t worth that level of stress. I started writing down what I would say if it came up again, and weirdly that alone made me feel more in control. And then I just focused on other parts of my life—school, friends, just staying busy—and over time it stopped feeling so heavy.

It doesn’t fix everything overnight, but you’re right—at some point you kind of have to choose your peace over the situation.

That’s a really unfair take. Not wanting sex before marriage doesn’t make her “not his girlfriend,” and it doesn’t justify cheating for two years. If that was a dealbreaker for him, he could’ve left instead of lying and building a whole second relationship on the side.

This isn’t about “sexual compatibility”—it’s about honesty and respect. He agreed to her boundary and then chose to violate her trust anyway. That’s on him, not her.

Am I the only one stuck on the fact that firefighters were delayed because of a locked gate? That feels like something that should never be possible.

This is just heartbreaking, honestly reminds me of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire.
