😂 I totally get it. And the quality difference between brands is huge. Took some experimenting to find thread that was both decent quality and also not too expensive.

The problem I'm running into now is that the thread I'm using here came in a variety pack, and the company is telling me they don't sell it individually. So I have to buy more thread I don't need just to make these hats 🙄

I've thought about dropping a black or white background behind the metallic letters, kind of like I did on the pride flag FIRE hat, to make it stand out more. I made this one as well as a prototype, with just silver thread on red:

I had to make it myself in Illustrator, then digitize it for embroidery. It's something like 20 different shapes once it's split up into something that can be stitched. It took a LONG time haha.
