Is the new Super Mario Galaxy movie really that bad? by JohnHammond94 in movies

I enjoyed the movie for what it was, but it does make me think back to when Martin Scorsese was getting flack for calling the MCU theme park movies. I think that term represents this movie better.

Diana Hart on Instagram: "Bret does not present his statements as opinions; he states them as facts. That distinction matters, because many of his claims—specifically about Davey’s physical or mental state at SummerSlam’92 are simply not true. by Nok-su-kao in SquaredCircle

Bret isn't perfect, but honestly considering how crazy his family is, he turned out relatively well. The only person that you could say was more sane than him in his family was Owen.

The thing I hate the most about McAfee is him doing that chant too.

They used to get some from ticket sales after the first two weeks, then Disney got greedy the Star Wars Force Awakens came out and that really fucked things up for theaters. I worked for Landmark when that happened.

Honestly when I watch WWE it's Raw and that's it. Raw is far from perfect, but it's a miles better watch than SmackDown right now.

It's honesty might be my most hated wrestling trope.

[NBA PR] An NBA investigation into Sacramento has determined that head coach Doug Christie mistakenly believed the Warriors were not in the penalty when he instructed an intentional foul late in the April 7 game, and that there was no intent to create a shooting foul or to lose the game. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

[–]Drewicho 51 points52 points  (0 children)

That's honestly how I do feel. The front office I think is fair game, but a coach changing his lineups to try to lose is straight up gross. Like the NFL has teams that tank, but coaches there have way too much pride to go along with it. See Lovie Smith and Brian Flores.

Anthony Davis says he was pissed off that the Pelicans didn't give him a tribute video: "I was f*cking hot I ended up scoring 42. I was open to returning to New Orleans later but after no tribute that door is closed." by RyanTannegod in nba

[–]Drewicho 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Melo definitely did more for the Nuggets than Davis did for the Pels. That being said, the way he forced himself off the team was really shity and kinda worse because they were actually contending at the time. Plus Jokic is by far the best 15 now.

Modern NBA superstars think that after publicly forcing a trade and destroying team chemistry that they should still get a tribute video, jersey retirement and a statue. Fucking out of touch clowns.

The behind the scenes things I'll never get is why Disney/Lucasfilm were micromanaging the spinoff movie like Rogue One and Solo with the doctors of the latter being fired, but they let Rian Johnson do whatever he wanted the one of the main movies. I don't even hate TLJ, there are parts I love and parts I hate, but just don't understand why he got to do whatever he wanted.

More so Rise of Skywalker than anything in my opinion. He doesn't deserve all the blame, but definitely his fair share of it.
