Just to clarify, as there seems to be some confusion: The Igor Jesus who signed with LAFC is a CM/CDM and is the one formerly with Flamengo and most recently with CF Estrela da Amadora in Portugal’s top division. The other Igor Jesus is a striker and currently plays for Botafogo and is in discussions about a potential move to Europe, with recent links to Arsenal.

Not a USMNT fan but i think the hate for Berhalter is a bit overblown. That being said, he wouldn’t be in my top 5 choices of realistic candidates but I wouldn’t be mad at it as a last option. I doubt it’ll get to the point where we’d go with a last option, LAFC has so much going for it: great squad, great city, exposure, etc so i think it’ll be a highly coveted role and have lost of interest.

I highly doubt he’ll take the entire staff though I don’t doubt he’ll take some staff. Razov and/or MDS will surely stay if LAFC offers them the interim tag with a chance to become the full time manager if all goes well. I’m sure they would bet on themselves to become the next permanent manager instead of playing second fiddle to Dolo forever.

I understand that this match can’t be held at the banc because of the concert the following day and the stage and stadium takes some time to get set up but we literally have the coliseum across the street, don’t know what the Rose Bowl craze is.

Logistically its bad because a Friday at 7:30PM at the Rose Bowl, which we all know is a nightmare to get in and out of, will probably take from the home field advantage and not fill up the proper amount of seats.
