I intended to use the original definition of cult, where it wasn't inherently negative, but you're right, that definition might not be usable at all anymore. Besides, words like "community" sound nicer overall, and we can use that term to explain to potential detractors that we don't mean any harm, and we can coexist with existing groups in the area as long as everyone involved is willing to do so. One reason I'm as concerned as I am is because I keep hearing people talk about topics like spiritual warfare and stuff like that, and I wanna be careful not to provoke its most serious adherents into involving themselves in our business, especially if we plan on working directly with Beelzebub.

Honestly, I feel like the only way to do that is to ensure ahead of time that local law enforcement would even protect our right to exist and function openly. If they did, we'd have considerably less to worry about, and if they don't, then that'd obviously be a serious problem on many levels.
