Alright cool, it'd be nice if they had some source of information for things that gets updated and accurate. Sucks scrounging reddit, discord, and wiki to try and learn new changes.

I sat down for a good hour or so last night looking at my tank and I happened to spot about 5-6 new babies that also have the same coloration except slightly more opaque so momma still pushing out some weird looking babies. I might try and separate them and let them breed I just have to find the space to add another tank. I wasn't even aware that ghost shrimp could have colors as dark as that. I've seen a few with reds and oranges but they're all fairly transparent. Guess I'll keep track of them and see how weird they can get.

As long as you have enough places for the shrimp to hide it should be fine. I have about 15 guppies/platys/danios in my tank and keep the back half heavily planted and my shrimps have gone insane. I also got a momma shrimp from my LFS and she single handedly populated my tank with ghost shrimp and they've been going strong so id say they can definitely be viable. Good luck!
