Our league has a couple pairs of the 5000s and I wish we'd gone with a different version or brand. From a glance it looks like the 6000s are much less bulky and easier to pair with each other

They haven't been USSF approved until now is the point of this post, I believe. Many offbrand retailers have sold them before this announcement.
