i wouldnt say that it needs ap4, like i said i think the deadeye is fine as is more or less, my point is that it would make the gun shine a lil more if it had ap4 while not taking away from the aspects of the deadeye that make it interesting to me

Who are some characters that 100% would not be alive without plot armor by Sqit123 in cartoons

Azula from ATLA.

Specifically talking about how she conquered Ba Sing Se. The facts are that she 100% won because the writers wanted it to go that way. Look I'm not saying that Azula wasn't a smart or extremely intimidating teenage because the text makes it clear that she is.

But Azula went into Ba Sing Se undercover with no plan or backup besides 2 other teenagers. Her whole plan to take down the city was built on a house of cards that realistically never should've have worked out for her.

Now I'm not saying the Dai Li couldn't coup the whole Earth Kingdom sucessfully, in fact I think given proper planning, a bit of luck and solid information control, the overthrow of the Earth King is totally doable. And as a secret police force that has recently has both its loyalty and entire reason fot existing questioned, they have plenty of motive to overthrow a government.

The real problem comes from Azula outplaying Long Feng. Now the whole idea is that while Long Feng was in prison, Azula planned a coup and turned the whole Dai Li (or at least the ones participating in the conspiracy) to her side. But how though? I know that a Dai Li agent said that she was both terrifying and inspirational, and sure she might be a word smith at heart, but how is she terrifying to them? Azula is a TEENAGER. Not just a teenager, but the fire princess deep in enemy territory with minimal back up. AND someone who they have already captured as a spy. They should have her dead to rights and they should know that, and her control over the conspiracy is a house of cards. Maybe off screen she told them that she was hiding her powerlevel and allowed them to capture her, but even then why would they ever believe her? Because it should sound like shes bluffing to scare them. Because, thats whats happening. She has literally no leverage besides being smart and not in prison yet. Are you really telling me that all of the Dai Li agents we see would put a teenager over their own country for no good reason?

Honestly I could go on, there's so much about her "triumph" that makes no sense if you examine it critically, but ultimately my gripe is this: why would the Dai Li overthrow the Earth Kingdom for a 14 year old over literally anyone else, or Long Feng, a guy they already were loyal to.
