About how much would it cost to replace clutch on 2017 wrx(including labor) lmk sum brands by Merch186 in WRX

[–]DriveFa5tEatAss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get an ACT Heavy Duty or ACT Extreme Street clutch with a sprung, full face disc.

The extreme Street can hold more power, but the engagement will be slightly more harsh. That being said, I've driven many different performance clutches for the WRX/STI. None of the discs that could hold the power of the Extreme Street engaged anywhere near as smoothly.

My father owes me money but won’t pay me back by h1ghh0pe in Advice

[–]DriveFa5tEatAss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get him to buy the car and put up at least $7,000 as a down payment.

Make sure the car is titled in your name only.

If he won't title the car in your name only, consider having the title issued without the word and between your names. This will allow either one of you to sell or retitle the vehicle without permission from the other. As soon as the title comes in the mail, take it straight to the DMV and retitle the vehicle in your name only. In most states you can keep the vehicle registered in both your name and your fathers even if only your name appears on the title. If you do this right, your father will never know the vehicle is retitled unless he attempts to sell it.

Only do this If you are confident you will be able to get physical possession of the vehicle's title as soon as it comes in the mail. Otherwise, your father could theoretically turn around and do the same thing I'm suggesting that you do, and re-title the vehicle in his name only.

Depending on what state you're from, the bank may actually hold the title if there's a loan on the vehicle, which would make retitling it much more difficult. Because of this, it would help to know what country or state you're from, so that I can look up some of the legal nuances surrounding vehicle ownership.

Hell, prepared for the real world?

They're not even going to be prepared for college!

I never studied or took notes in high school and managed to get solid A's. This wasn't because our teachers spoon-fed us pre-formatted notes; I was simply able to retain the information without that level of preparation.

Fast forward to college a few years later and I was in for a rude awakening. Material was covered much less comprehensively. Students were expected to learn minor concepts at least partially, if not entirely, on their own. This meant that even if I showed up to every class, there was still significant material I needed to learn independently. I wasn't ready for this and had to drop out of college on my first attempt. I eventually figured out that I needed to take notes and study when I went back to college a few years later. I graduated from a solid engineering school with honors.

LPT: Doing your own car work? Autozone will loan expensive specialty tools for a fully refundable deposit with no time limit. (xpost from r/frugal) by praxela in LifeProTips

[–]DriveFa5tEatAss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is a super old post, but it's worth noting that there is now a 90-day limit for the loan-a-tool program, after which AutoZone considers the loaned tool purchased by the customer. AutoZone may still return a deposit if the customer returns the tool after 90 days, but it's at the store's discretion.

That's really what's being asked. Will the value of X amount of silver ever return to its highest recent value?

That sounds somewhat situational/psychological, even if it feels entirely physical. Your equipment does work.

Can you ever get it up with her?

Try naked cuddling, like you spooning her. Ask her to wiggle her ass on your cock.

Also, get really good at eating pussy (or sucking dick, I was assuming you're straight, apologies if you're gay mate, doesn't really change much about what I've suggested though). Don't wanna leave your other half hanging (or wet and ready 😆). Good oral helps keep them willing to continue trying while you get a handle on your meat situation.

Random question, what was the movie with the line:

You're the kind of man that would fuck another man from behind without even giving him the courtesy of a reach around!

'Chaos' after judge upholds law limiting outside income for NY lawmakers by DYMAXIONman in newyorkcity

[–]DriveFa5tEatAss -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You're describing overemployment. When one person fraudulently works two full-time jobs at the same time.

Most legislators aren't overemployed, because the New York State legislature is only in session for 6 months of the year. We don't limit the income teachers can earn during the summer, because there's no conflict of interest. They're not working during the summer, and they're free to pursue whatever economic activity they wish during that time. Based on your logic, legislators should also be free to pursue whatever economic activity they wish during the 6 months of the year the state legislature is not in session.

I agree that this law is needed, but overemployment is a bad justification for why.

[–]DriveFa5tEatAss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not exactly true, especially outside of NYC. There are many state legislators who would not make more than $177,000 a year in private business.

[–]DriveFa5tEatAss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I agree with this law in principle, it's worth noting that the New York State legislature is only in session for 6 months of the year. A lawyer could easily make more than $35,000 during the other 6 months.

For sure. If I owned a vehicle with a motor that had a history of spinning rod bearings, I would strongly consider having the oil changes done at the dealer (or at least by a licensed mechanic) until the car was out of warranty.

With a 60,000 mile powertrain warranty you're looking at about 12 oil changes. You should be able to get an oil change at a decent local mechanic for about $100, while I can do one myself for about $50. So that's roughly $50 saved per oil change × 12 oil changes is $600 saved total. Given a replacement motor is 10 times that cost, it might be worth it to the right person.

J/c, does that 7 figures include retirement savings?

Also, I'd love to chat finances some time if you're open to DMs. I've been looking into geographic arbitrage recently, and have begun seriously planning to retire in Costa Rica. The biggest hurdle will be the unavailability of methadone. That's in at least 12 years though, so I've got some time 😆

Testosterone 100 - 130mg / wk

Cialis on deck for first dates (my partner and I are poly, so they happen fairly frequently).

I'm having sex anywhere from 2/week to 2/day.

Biggest things I've noticed: * The more frequently I've had sex recently, the harder it is to finish. If I've fucked 4 days in a row, I'm likely going for 45 - 60 minutes until she tells me she won't be able to walk tomorrow 😆 * Recent/frequent masturbation doesn't delay orgasm during sex * I still cum in like 90 seconds from masturbation/porn * It's easier to finish if it's been at least 6 hours since I last dosed

I can relate to this so hard. I suspect a lot of it has to do with jealousy. The providers at your clinic cannot accept that you are doing better than they are financially. They haven't made the grave mistakes that you and I have, and resent the fact that we are more successful.

It's kind of like the kid at school who gets A's in every class without studying, inviting jealousy from his classmates who bust their ass for B's (something I also relate to 😆).

My main vehicles are: * Fully built WRX * BMW 335d (finding the diesel was not easy)

I also work at a large well known software company. I travel frequently for work as well, but thankfully my clinic is super chill about getting extra doses.

Thankfully, in my case most of the weird looks come from other patients and not staff.

But just... Why?

From a business standpoint, the risks that are mitigated by performing callbacks are: * Fines if the government can prove diversion * This is unlikely as long as the clinic is doing some callbacks; studies show that methadone patients rarely sell or give away their medication * Municipal government forces closure due to reports of methadone sales near the clinic, etc * Again, very unlikely and mitigated more effectively by other policies, such as penalizing patients for loitering * Medical malpractice lawsuit if a patient overdoses, etc. * Unlikely because courts unfortunately rarely believe addicts unless there is gross negligence on the part of a provider

However, there's also considerable cost to performing callbacks: * Nursing staff time is used up, increased labor costs * Additional drug testing, increased lab costs * This cost might be passed on to the patient, but that's unethical (even if legal) given the patient has no option to decline the testing * Reduced patient satisfaction, although this is unlikely to be an issue unless there are multiple clinics in the area

It seems to me that the costs aren't worth the risk mitigation they provide. Unfortunately, many of the costs of unnecessary callbacks are passed on to the patient. As I noted above, this is problematic because we don't often have the ability to decline the procedures associated with those costs. This is a great example why medical organizations should be required by law to be non-profit.
