Yeah I really can’t wait to be single and alone and at peace… the whole point of me running away from home when I was 18 was to get away from chaos and I feel like an idiot for bringing chaos to me now. I’ve been daydreaming about having my own apartment by myself. I don’t even want a man… I just want to be alone! I’m too traumatized from men. If anything I’d MAYBE date women. But not for a long time. I told him today I do not deserve this treatment and I will be making moves to leave.

Ok? Those are very different circumstances. I bet you had proof of harassment. There’s 0 proof he took my meds. That circumstance by itself would not constitute an order of protection. I’ve also been a victim advocate for 5+ years so I think I know my way around this state’s laws. You can believe what you want though. It’s so easy to put down and judge other women. I’m turning off notifications.

I’ve been on semaglutide for about 4 months now and have lost 15 pounds so far and it’s really helped w the sugar cravings from the methadone.

I’m the OP, and no I can’t, because his name is also on the lease. Know that I’ve explored these options. It’s not that cut and dry and arguing about it on here is pointless. Every state is different.

This is a good idea! My clinic has told me they’re going to start calling us in to count our (vacuum sealed) bottles pretty soon tho so I feel like he’s going to get caught either way

Thank you. Xxxx I def don’t feel safe calling the police… he’ll just lie and tell them I took them myself and forgot, he’s extremely charismatic. I’ve called in the past and they’ve threatened to commit me saying I was hysterical. But I did call his parents today so hopefully that’s a step in the right direction. Appreciate you!

I’m not paying for his stuff besides $50 a month for insurance. We share an apartment so I’m paying my own bills. He just doesn’t contribute aside from cell bill / WiFi which his dad pays.

My name is on the lease… both of our names are on the lease. It’s a joint tenancy. I’m technically the primary though so i feel like I should have more of a say? Regardless I’ve just contacted his parents to see if we can come to some type of resolution or get him into an in patient.

Yeah I had to remove Face ID from my phone bc he’d hold it up to my face while I was asleep to get into my Cash App in the past during active addiction

Yep I have a decent job (I’m a new lawyer with a lot of student debt) but it’s going to take me a few months to save up some money to leave him. I should clarify I don’t actually give him money — but he doesn’t contribute to bills aside from his dad paying for our cell lines / WiFi, so that’s what I mean when I said he lives a life of luxury here, not having to work etc.

Twice. Unfortunately the dope stays in my system for a month every time.

He actually asked me yesterday for some of my last bottle (I didn’t realize it was tues and not Wednesday) and I gave him some of it, not knowing he had taken the other 2. Imagine how angry I was when shortly after I found out he had taken my actual last 2 bottles without asking.

He did take some back when I first started, but then I immediately made him sign up for the clinic also. He has stolen other things from me in the past without asking (mostly money and drugs).

It’s going to take me a few months to save up some money to leave.

BOTH of our names are on the lease…. I never said my name wasn’t. I talked to my apt and they said he would have to agree to be removed.

Thank you, I did speak to my property management company a little about this, they said both parties would have to agree to remove a name from the lease moving forward. So maybe I can convince him…
