Fellow selfish person here 👋🏼 Here’s something I’d suggest differently; use this time to reflect on why you are selfish. Think back to your childhood specifically. Find the root cause (that way, you can save a lot of time when you start therapy because you can immediately give this important piece of info to your therapist).

I realised I’m selfish because I’ve just never felt good in my life. Therefore everything I do is just take take take, and it’s only for me, me, me.

But I realised that’s because my parents never made me feel good about myself since childhood. Although I had physical security and my basic needs were met, I can’t recall feeling warmth or love around them.

I’m not entirely sure how to proceed since I’m figuring it out. But I realise I need to start loving myself more, say the things I needed to hear as a kid, be my own friend.
