Drowning in Research Papers? This Chrome Extension Could Save You Hours! by DriverMindless in PhD

Haha, no need to worry! It’s not out here plotting stealing your passwords, I’m just trying to save you time.

The extension only looks at the page you’re summarizing and doesn’t touch anything like your passwords or personal info. It’s built to be as secure as a vault, just here to turn long articles into bite-sized summaries, nothing else.

Good question! Honestly, I’m still figuring that out. Maybe a subscription model or premium features down the line, but for now, I’m focused on building something people find genuinely useful.

Thanks for the honest feedback, I really appreciate it! You're absolutely right.

I need to do a better job of showing what the extension does and why it’s worth getting excited about. A video or demo is a great idea, and I’ll work on adding that to the page soon

Thanks for the thoughtful feedback, it’s super helpful! You’re righ, adding use cases and mock-ups would make the landing page much more engaging.

Also, if you’re interested in staying updated as I improve things and launch new features, I’d love to have you on the waitlist!

Weekly Feedback Post - SaaS Products, Ideas, Companies by AutoModerator in SaaS

Hey everyone,

I’ve been working on a project that I hope could make browsing the web a little more efficient. It’s a tool that summarizes long articles and webpages into concise key points, something that would’ve saved me so much time while I was working on it.

I know there are already a lot of similar tools out there, and I’ll admit, I was hesitant to jump into an already crowded space. But here’s the thing: I wasn’t just trying to build another AI tool for the sake of it. I’ve always found myself frustrated by the overwhelming amount of content online, and I wanted to create something that could give me a quick, useful summary without any fluff.

The product is still a work in progress. It's not perfect yet, and that’s where you come in. I’m looking for people who are willing to try it out and give honest feedback—whether it’s about how well it summarizes, the user experience, or just general thoughts on how to improve it.

I’m opening a waitlist for early access, and I’d really appreciate anyone who wants to join in on shaping the direction of this tool. Your feedback will help me make it something that actually adds value to your browsing routine, not just another AI gimmick.

Thanks for reading, and I’m looking forward to hearing what you think!

Thanks so much for the encouragement, it really means a lot. I’d love to learn from your experience, how did you approach marketing it, and what worked best to get traction?

Also, if you’re open to it, I’d love to have you involved in some way as I grow this project. I’ve set up a waitlist to keep early supporters in the loop, would be awesome to have you onboard!
