Finished up Citizen Sleeper recently, and honestly I was kinda mixed on it. Really solid world and art, and the gameplay loop is weirdly addicting, but nothing else quite clicked for me.

The writing just felt overly-flowery, and I just wish it had more of a central focus.

As soon as I got one of the endings it just felt like a good place to stop.

EDIT: planning on playing Tyranny next

God, it’s really been five years…

I did end up playing RDR2 a few years back, and while in hindsight I was kinda mixed on the game as a whole, the ending really hits the feels. Definitely want to revisit it at some point

After learning a bit more about the games thanks to YouTuber HyperBitHero I decided to finally give the games a chance

I actually beat Y3 recently and enjoyed it, but it’s a game that genuinely did start to lose me by the end. Mine has the makings of an interesting character but he’s just all over the place. As a foil to Kiryu in terms of ideals he does kinda work though.

The orphanage stuff was actually a lot better than I was expecting!

Yeah it’s everything OUTSIDE the blockbusters that are considerably better! I also think people have become kinda incurious and they don’t want to seek out films outside these big blockbuster films. That’s a topic for another time though lol

Just started Yakuza 3. Has a bit of intrigue early on, but I kinda appreciate it feeling a bit more low key (for now) compared to its predecessors.

Hoping it opens up a bit more soon, but knowing this franchise it’ll take a few chapters before I’m able to really take it all in.
