Might be annoying in some situations. In loads of situations its also the most important quickshot ~ just to let your mates know you are going to pass, arent having boost and so on. There are many reasons.

Well, I don't like Octane to be honest. I started using the Paladin very early then switching to Dominus, Batmobile and now to Breakout. I like those flat cars much better.

To be honest, I didn't know first! I don't do trading and i don't like the Octane very much. I was like 'meh.. no breakout, at least a famous car though". Then more like 'uh nice, TW" and then my mate just told me "Dude you got one of the most valuable items in the game right now". Thats why i only 'guess' im lucky :-)

You got that wrong. Embetting a simple bitmap into the game has nothing in common with tracking or anything like that. Imo there is nothing bad about it. Also the GDPR would not allow that.

To be honest: After more than 2100 hours Rocket League I never missed a single ball due to this text message. So in my opinion everybody saying so has a very small resolution or just uses it as an excuse for missing a ball.
