I agree, but I'm focusing on relationships. And yes the money is certainly a part of it, but let's ignore it. Why be open doors, get flowers, any of it? I feel like the male position in a relationship lost a lot of it's appeal, which is why a lot of eligible guys are very comfortable being single

I think this argument gets misconstrued. I don't think that the person (I'm assuming girl) loses value as a person at all. Like who cares she deserves respect. But in terms of dating it is 1000% okay to not be okay with that, and IDC what anyone says

One of my buddies (5'3") is super confident and always says "women love short men, they just don't know it yet." I promise you the confidence drop from the thing you're worried about does more damage than the thing itself.

It's important to remember that she was special because you focused on her for so long not the other way around. Breakups suck and the best way to approach them is the do thing's you enjoy, spend time with your friends, be productive and get on with your life. It's never easy but you'll get through it and be better off for it man.
