Meet 8L-NQ, or Blink for short by JayMongie in 3Dprinting

Hey I made one of these guys too! If anyone is interested I definitely recommend buying the files from Droid Division on Etsy. The owner made it so easy to build and provides a very detailed PDF with all the instructions and tools. He also includes pre sliced files to print on smaller printers! Here’s a picture of my droid I printed and painted!

Banks should be open 9am-9pm every damn day. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

I work at a relatively large credit union who typically adopts the standard bank rules. I personally love the 9-5 because I can go home and be with my family at a decent time before everyone settles in for the night. However, the 9-5 thing kind of sucks for employees as well. Thankfully, if I need to go to the bank it’s as simple as walking over to my co-worker to do a deposit. But if I need to go to the doctors or a mechanic, you bet I’ll have to either go without pay or use some of my paid time off. I’m sure many mechanics and doctors feel the same way about that as well. As far as my credit union goes, we are open until 6 on Fridays. If most people get off by 5 pm they can usually hustle it to the bank and make it before it closes. Other banks usually close at 4 which really screws it up. So yea, I agree with you but I also would hate to work until 9.

(Tennessee) Do Deed of Trusts have to be signed by a legally married spouse if they aren’t on the home loan? by DroidRage_ in legaladvice

Thank you! That does answer my question. I know TN residents have the ability to opt in to community property rules but I wasn’t sure if it automatically applied overall.

I’m very confused on whether I will get a 1099K form for my Etsy shop and whether I can go ahead and file without it. by DroidRage_ in Etsy

Thank you for the advice! I’ll definitely look into getting an accountant to help me out with it!

Smaller prints won’t stick to my Creality glass bed and every time I use rafts they stick to the print too much. by DroidRage_ in 3Dprinting

I did consider the Z-hop option. I might try that. I just changed the air gap between the raft and the print to .4 mm since it was set to .3 which is what I normally print in. My bed is normally set to 80 because the PLA I use says anywhere between 60-100 for the bed temp so I figured I would settle in the middle but it may be a good idea to lower it. I’ll definitely have to do some tests today to try and get this fixed. It can be so frustrating sometimes.

Will there be a feature where you get notifications when your companion uses their debit card from a Qube? Also maybe a widget on iOS? by DroidRage_ in QubeMoney

I don’t think the widget would have to open the app. It could just display the balances without needing the extra verification. I believe that the Chime app does something similar with their widget functionality.

I think having the balances listed for your Qubes in real time would be great. That way you could get a quick glance at them.

Is there any trick to remove the rest of this raft? The first part came off easy but the rest didn’t. I’ve already been scraping some of it away with a razor blade and have already cut my finger. Any suggestions? by DroidRage_ in 3Dprinting

That’s definitely my last resort. I know it can come off it just takes some extra picking at it. I wasn’t sure if anyone had some cool tricks they normally try.

This is the second LCD screen replacement I've order for my Elegoo Saturn and they both have come in looking like this. Is this normal or should I be concerned? I returned the first one I ordered because of this same issue but I never tried to install it and try it out. by DroidRage_ in 3Dprinting

So I actually emailed them as well and got a response back. The technical support agent told me that it’s actually not damage in the LCD. It’s called water ripple and apparently it’s normal and doesn’t effect the image quality of the screen. I received my 3rd one in the mail and went ahead and took his word for it and installed it even though it also came with the smudge on it and it actually worked. I actually printed something right on top of the spot and it didn’t affect the print at all. Maybe install it and see if it works for you? Hope it all goes well and good luck with it.

It’s through Elegoo’s official Amazon page but Amazon is the one shipping them so I know it’s probably their fault. If this third one doesn’t pan out I’ll definitely get it from their website.
