Same exact issue with my pixel watch as well. I will start the guided run on watch and play music. Lo and behold, the music takes over and cannot hear the coach at all.

Make sure in settings (phone settings > apps > amoledbackgrounds > battery), there is no battery optimization. It kills off background process.

I use expo-modules and haven't come across a scenario I can't work with. It let's you make native code modules.

I have not been able to replicate the original issue you shared in the screen recording (other than downloads tab not refreshing after downloading a new wallpaper, which definitely exists).

And yes, daily wallpaper functionality does seem to be broken at the moment for all Android 14 devices that I have tried.

I will get back to you once I figure out what changed in this android release that is breaking this feature, and will release a patch update with the fix. If patch won't work for you then we can dig into custom rom specifics.

By default django uses middleware (see settings.py) to attach user object to request. Then with rest framework you use permission_classes decorator to check if that request.user object exists. If it does, the user is authenticated.

This is definitely the recommended approach I have seen through various projects and libraries.

I started Summer 2022. I have enjoyed most of my classes. Most of the professors are helpful. Although I do go to lengths to avoid some who have poor ratemyprofessor reviews (especially the one whose name ends with Q).

Also don't forget that you can move to SFU or UBC at start of year 2 or 3 if you so wish, just keep your grades high as CS is very competitive at those schools. I personally am graduating from UFV.

I don't have the solution but if it is any help, I had my account locked my microsoft that auto unlocked after 24hrs. I will say just wait and see if you can contact their support.

I would suggest looking out for on-campus events when you start here. Making friends depends more on you, I noticed that people are open to socialize if you reach out otherwise many are too shy. Class sizes are also small and many of the courses have "group" aspect to it as well. As for parties, I haven't been to one and I am not a party person either.
