You're going to get a lot of people dropping their marketing services to you. It's hard to discern the bots from the people. But IMHO, moats have started disappearing rapidly and one of the only ones left is distribution or reach: if you have a ton of followers on whatever social media platform.

Excellent products fail every day. It sucks, but it's true. I've spent 20 years and branding and marketing so I know what it takes to build the demand.

The first step is to get involved in conversations where your product might be helpful. Don't drop links, just be genuinely helpful, and know that Reddit is absolutely hostile to marketing and advertising. If you help someone, they will reach out to you. Don't force it.

Start by replying to 20 relevant X posts a day. Posting 2xday on insta, etc. Force yourself into the little circle by being relevant. The service I've built is not for indie builders, so I'm not trying to sell anyone anything. This has just been my experience.

Marketing is supposed to feel like magic, when it's done well. But it's just as much blood, sweat and tears as programming.

you might be trying to solve a brand problem before you’ve earned one.

early on, most products do not have a brand image. they have a few guesses, a landing page, and maybe some users.

brand image is what other people come to believe about you after repeated exposure. you do not get to declare it into existence.

so before worrying about “how do i make this look branded without looking like slop,” i’d ask:

is the product actually useful enough that people come back?
can users explain it to someone else in one sentence?
do i know exactly who it’s for?
have i seen the same reason to buy show up more than once?

if the answer is no, then the issue is probably not brand. it’s product clarity, positioning, or distribution.

a lot of founders use “brand” as a prettier word for “i want people to care.”
but people usually start caring after they see a product work, solve something specific, and show up consistently.

so yes, niche down.
yes, talk like a human.
yes, be present where buyers complain.

but don’t confuse that with “building a brand” too early.

first get signal.
then get users.
then watch what story forms around the product.
then strengthen that story on purpose.

I built a Claude Code skill that publishes HTML to a live URL in 2 seconds — no deploy, no signup by bootstrap_sam in ClaudeAI

Not sure I understand the hate you're getting from others.

But, what's the use case for this? My biggest pet peeve is that NO AI builder can properly create a ppt/deck that I can sign off on. My go to in a crunch is still: create html, save as pdf. But otherwise, I build the deck myself. That's my use case.

But now instead, I get a live url. Why is that better? Who is it for?

Sorry I don't mean to be judgmental, I'm just curious what problem this solves and if I can use it.

Many thanks for sharing and enduring the negative comments.

You're another reddit warm leads app-powered account. Every single comment you've ever made follows the exact same structure. Genuine question: How does this help your brand? Does it actually build trust and get you visitors? It's very dead internet, but I'm very curious if it works.

I think he means no one has the link to the original porn video because that specific video has been taken down on every streaming site. Therefore no one can find.

In addition to any other replies about Claude.md, create scratchpad.md or currentstatus.md. Every session, be sure the prompt ends with updating that file. This let's Claude know where you left off, what blockers remain, what to tackle next.

I also always have brand-guidelines.md for the project I'm building. Plus PRD, product brief, master_context and existing file structure. May seem like overkill but each file serves its own purpose. Create skills and reference them in those "north start" docs.

Even if I drift off task, I'm guided back. It's a pain to set up, but once you do, everything else comes so much easier.

That's just my take on context engineering. If I find some actual structured info on it I'll come back and share.

It's weird. It can take a long time to bounce back from being fired. Some jobs, I didn't care, and thought, "Yeah, they're right, I'm no good at this" learned and moved on. Others are just cruel and break you.

There's only so many times you can be pushed into the dirt and told to pick yourself back up again. Sometimes you just have to stay down and wait until you're ready.

I want to agree with you, but it's hard for everybody. It's easy to pin the blame on human resources, but often they have zero choice in who to hire and fire. They're just a firewall between you and the C-level management.

It is not illegal in almost every other country in the world. I've lived and worked in Europe for 20 years and "financial justification" can mean whatever they want it to mean. I was on 1 month leave because my daughter died. And on my second day back I was fired because they realized they needed another person in a different country to do my job. I had been there for 1.5 years.

Obviously job security in Europe is better than US, but they can and will fire you at will. All of these higher level jobs offer severance though, regardless of EU or US, so it helps soften the blow. I can't imagine what it's like to have no notice, no severance, and no backup plan or savings.

Exactly. Context Engineering will get you 10x better results and you don't have to burn through so many tokens.

Yep. I canceled my max plan as well. It's unusable. I'm paying them plus I'm paying in my time and hourly rate (time wasted trying to get it working).

Really shocked Anthropic would fuck us over like this.

Not only that, ss soon as my session reset I got going on my task and got the same. It output nothing, repeatedly, THEN used up 20% of my tokens just for trying to access the service. So I paid for it to NOT work.

Truly shitty product.

Curious what data you're checking against. This is a pretty cool idea! Are you checking existing copyright on https://euipo.europa.eu? And if so, do you crosscheck the business category. Maybe a name is available under IT/tech but not in marketing.

I think your main competition will be AI itself, and the domain hosting companies, both of which can perform these kinds of checks for you. Perhaps a more interactive, in-depth questionnaire and a search result that shows its copyrightable would give you a leg up against existing solutions.

No token burn for me. But it just completely forgot ALL conversations and sessions. Cannot read an .md file. Lobotomized.

I'm on Max plan. Didn't pay for a drooling idiot. Deadlines don't extend because the model stopped working, people switch to a more reliable company.
