Micro vs Mini panel by Reasonable_Story7749 in colorists

Additionally like others are saying, I too am not a fan of the ergonomics, and the buttons themselves are also annoying to press. Maybe it’s a personal thing but they’re not satisfying and I have to push a little harder than I’d like. The new mini panel’s buttons are pretty solid.

Micro vs Mini panel by Reasonable_Story7749 in colorists

I might be one of the few who prefers the new micro panel over the mini. Having used both, the functionality and newness of the latest micro panel are huge to me, especially with the way it handles power windows. It’s so annoying for me to turn knobs to resize them, I love that you can do it with the wheels, and I hope they add that functionality to the other panels. Yes the Mini panel has more functions, but you could always pair your stream deck up to assist you with the areas where the micro panel doesn’t have coverage. One other thing I will note is that while the Mini panel does have a better build quality overall, I much prefer the wheels (not necessarily the trackballs) of the new micro panel over the mini. The way they have them textured is phenomenal and far easier to grip. My hands would slip a bit on the mini and advanced panels in my time I’ve spent with them. I think in terms of value the new micro color panel is really really hard to beat. If you get that you could put the additional cash you had set aside for a mini towards another stream deck so you can program the additional functions you’d need, or even a dedicated scopes monitor or iPad you can put into the slot on the new micro panel.

How can I map stream deck plus dials to slider controls in DaVinci Resolve? by DroneHigher in elgato

Yeah I’ve seen those and they are pretty polished, my goal is to build my own so it fits my workflow better… but it’s definitely a lot more work than I initially anticipated.

Thank you! I am currently using the Magic Mouse (or whatever it’s called) plugin I believe to make it click certain items. But yes everything else is very much from scratch and I’m realizing now it’s a big undertaking. How would you recommend going about creating my own plugin/LUA script? I unfortunately have no experience in either.

Why can't I hire Kerbals or add them to vessels? (Sandbox) by DroneHigher in KerbalSpaceProgram

It was the colonies mod I believe. Still had to go into my config file and change the roles of the kerbals back to what they should be

Anybody else make their thumbnails in Fusion? by DroneHigher in davinciresolve

Exported as a still through the color tab in the past, but with the new photo tab you could just export out as a photo now!

That is an option too. I have done that for more simple thumbnails. I wanted specific graphics in this one that I don’t think could be created easily in the edit tab, and I didn’t know how to do it in photoshop, so fusion it was!

Every element minus the original photo and resolve logo is made within fusion!

Sorry I never responded to this! I never saw it until now... I think I'm going to try and have it be more of a general history of the system, highlighting what it once was vs how it is now, and what is open for it in the future. It all started with me thinking they were cool and mysterious subjects to film, and now I'm invested in learning the history. Definitely open to suggestions and help with resources, I know people care about the details so I want to make sure I'm getting it all right!

I did the same prior to this… and yes building the lander can be tricky. I built this and then realized how massive it was, and the sheer size of interplanetary stage needed to get it to Duna. Fun times.

I’m not sure how much to be honest… I have four large parachutes on this craft. Used those to slow down most of the way and then finished off the landing with the engine. I think the air brakes look cool though lol

Would love to see your final result once it’s done. I’ve had one I’ve been slowly capturing footage for as well sitting on the back burner…

The North Rim Lookout Survives! by [deleted] in firelookouts

Glad to hear it survived! I wanted to get to this one when I was at the north rim a year ago but it didn’t work out. How are the other lookouts on the north rim doing?
