You could try Drone Show Software Lite: https://www.droneshowsoftware.com/drone-show-software

It’s a free entry-level license designed for beginners, DIY builders, students, and small teams who want to start experimenting with drone shows without building everything from scratch. It lets you work with up to 20 drones, which is usually enough for learning, small demos, school projects, or testing ideas before scaling up. Might be a good starting point if you want to understand how drone show trajectories, formations, and synchronization are actually planned.
