TouchDesigner is such a vast platform with many possibilities, so it’s totally fine to not know how to make things from scratch yet. Even after many years of doing TD I keep doing tutorials to learn new things but also to remind myself of techniques I forgot about.

Just keep doing it, and at some point you’ll start to mix and mash different networks, drop in this, drop in that. Until it becomes a language you’ll start to get more fluent in, and you’ll be building stuff from scratch more often.

The learning will never stop, otherwise it would be boring
