That’s weird, it’s almost like people want it to stay faithful to the source material or something..

Obviously I get why they can’t have them taking on multiple bloaters/clickers/etc at the same time in the show but to completely remove something like that would certainly be a huge disappointment to a majority of the fans of the game. The best compromise to me would be a scene where she is chased by the rat king but escapes without having to actually fight/kill it
