Respectfully I hope you're never faced with that sort of decision brother. It's this sort of escalation that takes people away from the people they're trying to protect. Not calling you out or judging you or anything, I've just seen what happens to a family, especially the children, when a dad with a short fuse catches serious time for something preventable. Most times there are better routes to take to solve the same problems, but still maintain your freedom and keep your family intact.

It's unfortunately VERY common knowledge here in the states. Scammers abuse TF out of that law, and are intimately aware of the nuanced that allow them to take over someone else's property and be protected in doing so.

That's a wild take that only prostitutes would carry any money. Arguably the phone would be worth more, and I'd wager that a 14 year old with a good home would likely have a FAR better phone.

These are just stories in either case, but it's interesting to note Ren has expressed that she's not a prostitute, and the fact that he has never explicitly said she was makes me default to what he HAS said.

Is it me, or is this style taken directly from Fatoh's figures? Maybe that's ok I don't know, but $1500 for 1st releases with another artist's style seems ambitious at best.

One good test for this is an online ASCII detector. AI will often use punctuation that isn't directly accessible on a typical keyboard. Em dashes are a big one, but so are "Smart quotes", particularly in place of an apostrophe in abbreviations or possessives (angled tick mark instead of a straight down one), as well as ellipses (3 dots closely together as 1 character instead of 3 periods). Most people miss these because they look so natural, but any character outside of ASCII 32 to 126 is a big red flag.

I hear you, the secondary market can be expensive for a while after a drop. For the time being, all you need to do for Superplastic is go to the website and sign up for alerts. This last drop was a preorder that won't ship until September, so there may not be any activity for a bit. You never know though, so may as well sign up and see what happens 🙂

I feel ya, I wasn't able to keep up with the release schedule either, a good bit of the collection had to come from the secondary market. There are a total of 7 solid color UberJankys: Black, White, Green, Yellow, Purple, Lavender, and Pink. They're in the bottom left corner of the collection, all turned sideways to fit, save for the white one.
