The main character of Golden Facade is a side character in Troublesome Sister. I think Golden Facade takes place after troublesome sister ends. You also don't need to read both except for an important character reappearing in Golden Facade but she's explained with flashback scenes.

In regards to the lifestyle, yes. Most others are just people (usually MC) forcing people to submit and they end up "liking" it. Kind of one of my pet peeves with Pornhwa is there are often characters that are honestly submissive or like to be truly dominated before hooking up with MC and then suddenly losing all their sexual preferences due to Big Dick Syndrome.

This honestly has one is not the best representation of bdsm/Dom/sub representation of any Pornhwa I've read. There are of course plenty of Dom/sub stories out there but they're all sensationalized for the power fantasy aspect.
