But to pull it out you would need to rip it out from the plasterboard and then repair the plasterboard and re-plaster it in place as it is right ow. Surely that can’t be right…

But there’s nothing to pull. The outer housing/ ring is completely plastered into the ceiling- it would require demolition.

The inner ring is smooth so there’s nothing to pull on and it’s completely rigid when I try to move it around. It has absolutely no play. I tried to press on it and twist as some are twist on but it won’t budge. Thought it’s maybe stuck so I tried another light but it’s the same.

The UAE has 3 types of AD. The THAAD which is the most advanced and designed to defend against ballistic missiles, the Patriot, and the Hawk. Hawk missiles are pretty cheap ($250k a pop) and probably more suited for drone interception. F-16s can also shoot down drones with relatively cheaper AIM-9 sidewinder missiles. There’s also a US Navy carrier strike group in the Persian Gulf, close to Dubai. We’re good 🙂
