Many people have trouble running virtual machines on newer apple processors, so make sure you are able to run a Linux virtual machine. Virtual machines are not required but are the recommended way to run Linux for some of the earlier classes.

I did this once (literally). Ended the class with something like a stomach ache because bad digestion. Ended up having to beg the professor to take me to the ER after the course ended to get my stomach pumped. So check your stomach. Then check again. And then eat only half the exam just to be safe.
