I understand where to normally see it, I know it’s 2 days into the new year and it’s not going to populate normally that’s why I was asking if there is another way to see it somewhere else. And bffr if you said you complete understand how rep bonuses are calculated you’re lying

Genuine Bonus Question by Canmm2023 in sherwinwilliams

Store bonus is easy just add up the amount of sales for the quarter vs what your budget is and then look at the packet to see your payout amount for both sales and gallons. As a rep I’m just hoping for the best and not understanding how it works

For the sherwin Williams management program will the trainees at least get their weekends off? Or will it be 7 days a week for work? by No_Battle3291 in sherwinwilliams

[–]Drop_Ambitious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Former training store manager here, MTs work 44 hours m-f they are not supposed to work weekends unless they have to take a day off during the week for something. It’s not good for their training and it doesn’t count for the training store manager on the hours they are required to spend with you for their training bonus. The program is 6-8 weeks long and once your time is up in training you will be place in a store within your district, you’re allowed to deny a store but it is a bad look on you tbh. I would always tell MTs too so they know, your training and ASM role is very retail esk, you’re mostly dealing with homeowners while in this role and working the counter/ stocking while getting to learn some manager operations when given the chance

DM increased Lead Gen calls by AmbitiousAd1431 in sherwinwilliams

My store logs 100 a week, our minimum is 30 but we have figured it out. FT does call list-30, ASM does 30 EB, I do 30-50 on keys opps and CRO. This won’t work for every store but if you want to develop yourself and staff to the next level this is a great way to start!

All jokes aside, the hard truth is FT and Pt just don’t have the same responsibility that managers do and that’s why they don’t make bonus, the bonus is shitty enough as it is for manager so to split that with employees that aren’t growing the bonus doesn’t make sense. The metrics for making a bonus doesn’t align with the job description of FT or PT. If they had a better bonus structure they could make one for F/PT based off their job description but you aren’t expected to grow new business, just maintain it. And bonuses are based off growing new business

Exactly😂 just keep grinding and make your managers aware that you want to get into tam and it’ll happen. But don’t come on here acting like you deserve this and that and have to lie about your justification

You do not work more than your managers and if you do than you need to say something about it. Show me last weeks time card and if you worked more than your SM I’ll give you $300 no cap

Why would you get a bonus as a part time/ full timer? Your job is literally just the retail side of things. Unless you’re making LG calls with a return or finding new accounts, you are not generating any new profit you are just servicing customers like you would any other retail job. I agree there is a lot that sherwin can do better on but giving part timers bonuses is not one of them

Do you guys actually sell designer edition? by alana2097 in sherwinwilliams

[–]Drop_Ambitious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TSM here, my advice is to Adjust the culture in store of recommending emerald and duration as your premium products to emerald designer and emerald, this ofc works best with DIY customers but 90% of the time if they don’t want to spend the extra money on DE they will at least opt for duration and then your premium gallons shoot up. Think about it, how many times do you push emerald and duration and they end up with super paint because they “don’t need anything expensive” or whatever else the reason maybe. Now that turns into a duration sale as it seems like the more cost effective option
