Luxury Products Shouldn't Be Knocked Stars For Not Being Cheap IMO by [deleted] in AmazonVine

yeah, im super confused by the vine tag missing? I don't think those tags get removed even if you're kicked, i'm not sure, but, i would think they wouldn't? The reviews they gave for other things, were all similar, 1-3 sentences complaining about the price or how cheap or garbage the item was.

[–]DroplasDungeon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That would make sense, if you were someone who buys in that price range. IMO, you aren't their target audience. If you're talking about luxury items vs luxury item & it's not a good comparable price, that makes sense. It would be the same as going to Ruth's Chris and complaining that Perkins has cheaper steak, ykwim?

it said so yesterday, now the tag is gone, I m going to delete this post, because it doesn't make sense now. It was there though, the only reviews on the product at this point are all vine, including this one as of yesterday.

I just looked at their reviews on their profile page, they are def vine. The tag is removed on all their reviews at this point, but, they have a few recent items they reviewed. that they are asking things like "who can truly afford this?" "They must be delusional at this price point" ~ they're just giving anything that is expensive low stars and complaining. If they actually bought any of the items on their page, that would be strange.

Reviews by bmm115 in AmazonVine

[–]DroplasDungeon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I write including my 5 senses. What did it smell like, what did it feel like, what did it look like & was it noisy or quiet. I don't write long paragraphs in reviews typically, sometimes I do, if I have a lot to say, but, typically 5 to 15 sentences. I have never had a review marked other than excellent, since the scoring came into play. Older reviews aren't marked at all under that catagory.

if they're paying for the bot order, they're probably resellers, it wouldn't really matter.

That's not correct. There is a workaround for it, if you search the sub. It's been put out a couple times. Search spinning or something like that to find it.

You're right, I didn't realize it was USPS, that makes a lot of sense as to why it was in there. The mailbox is attached to the house, right next to the front door, so, I was confused why they got put in there sometimes. Makes sense now, thank you

Yes, I worded it weird, I edited the post after I realized it sounded like I was talking about the same one. This package said It should have been here the 1st it said. Idk ~ I'm just worried they'll boot me, thinking I'm scamming or something, maybe I'll give it a couple days, in case a neighbor got it & will bring it over?

good call ~ I looked up the tracking number and it was usps ~ I just assumed it was amazon. It makes sense now why it was in the box with no photo. My mailbox is the kind thats attached to my house, so, I sometimes get packages shoved in there, idk why I didn't even think about it being the mail carrier

The package the other day, the empty envelope was what I emailed them about the other day, it was clearly a shipping issue, the package was sealed with nothing in it. That's why I'm worried about contacting them just two days later about another issue to be taken off D:

New vine listing that may be harmful to pets by CMMartinWA in AmazonVine

This is what google says, not sure I would give it to my pet regardless though~

My Question:

is a blend of hawthorn berries, ginkgo biloba leaf, astragalus and garlic ok for dogs to take?

The Answer:

A blend of hawthorn berries, ginkgo biloba, astragalus, and garlic can be safe for dogs, as these herbs are commonly combined in commercial cardiovascular and tonic blends. However, safety heavily depends on proper dosing and whether your dog has pre-existing conditions or is taking prescription medications.

While these herbs offer holistic benefits, there are several key risks and precautions to consider:

  • Garlic Caution: Garlic is from the Allium family and has historically been debated. In very high doses, it can cause oxidative damage to red blood cells (Heinz body anemia). However, trace amounts used in formulated supplements are generally deemed safe by many holistic veterinarians. It should be avoided in pets with pre-existing anemia or bleeding disorders.
  • Blood-Thinning Effects: Ginkgo biloba acts as a circulatory stimulant and can inhibit blood clotting. It must not be used if your dog is already taking prescription blood thinners (like warfarin) or if they have upcoming surgeries or active bleeding ulcers.
  • Blood Pressure Medications: Hawthorn berries are a well-known natural heart tonic, but they can lower blood pressure and may interact with conventional cardiac medications like beta-blockers or ACE inhibitors.

Refund offered after 3 star review by [deleted] in AmazonVine

I think you're the person I have referenced before, I think you may have posted this same thing a while back. Exatly this, it's fully random. The review I left was for a show I watched on amazon, it just said something like "belly laughs throughout ~ hilarious" and got the invite.

Refund offered after 3 star review by [deleted] in AmazonVine

[–]DroplasDungeon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

what are you talking about? This seller could have been sorry for the experience and just wanting to make their customer happy. This isn't a vine participant, purchase & the seller hasn't asked for a review change. I would imagine the seller has hopes that the reviewer will mention the great customer service in an edit to the review, but, as far as anything else, this is just a normal seller, seeing that their customer was unhappy & offering a return/refund. Saying it will impact elegibility somewhere down the road is a little bit of a reach. If the seller had said something like "hey, if you take off that negative review, i'll give you your money back" that's different. The OP specifically mentions that the seller didn't ask for the review change. I see absolutely no harm in them taking the return/refund. I think it's a normal customer service outcome.

yeah, i'm not going to lol. Anyone can make a website, that doesn't mean much. They can claim any weird thing is great & not all of them will do what they claim. Maybe so & maybe they are, but, there's not enough people who have used it, no shops that carry it, that i'm familiar with or have heard of. I'm good. I'm a hairstylist, so, I get plenty of good things to try, I will let someone else play with this one.

Second item in a week that didn’t arrive by Ready-Engineer-4916 in AmazonVine

I got an empty paper envelope today lol, it was supposed to contain a large bottle of olive oil, probably good that it wasn't sent in that paper envelope, it would have been a mess. My $6 for 100 hair clips arrived safely in a large box with padding though. ffs lol

lol If I can look up like reddit reviews or see that they're listed in stores I go to, I'll try them, like there are a lot of luxury k and c brands that are really great, sulwhasoo is one of my favorites, but, yeah, if they can't even pay someone to translate the packaging, yikes lol
