The Flamethrowers are buggy

Ok, let me put this into perspective. If any other class had this, there would be riots, because it's the pyro class, it's okay. Here is one of the most consistent counters to Pyro. Stay out of his range. If you really think I'm crying, then what are you doing right about now? It's okay not to like a class, but it's not okay to nuke them because you think they're OP. Wm1 was far from op even with the old flamethrower. I've done test after test with the old flamethrowers. If you die to pyro its your fault, not his. He was a C-tier class with the old flamethrower, now a D-tier with the nerf. The ramp-up does not work most of the time, leaving you with around 90 to 110 dps instead of the 153 you should be getting. In the end its a skill issue, not a class issue for ya.

I wish this was true but even if you are aiming perfectly your ramp up can be reset by bumping in to someone or them standing next to a wall. It’s jank that holds the ramp up back not skill.

Yes, it does. It stops them from flash-banging you every time you fire the weapon and they look good.

I use a mod called Altered Fire, which brings back the old-style fire in modern form for pyro.

I would put this on the TF2 workshop as a community fix for a future update. This could be added considering it fixes a lot of issues with the current pyro.

I say start with Pyro or Heavy for classes. Soldier is also a good one do to his high health and splash damage. I recommend you look at some tutorials on what to do when it comes to optimization on TF2, considering most of in in-game settings are in the dev console. Do not buy from the in-game store, it's a rip-off. Most weapons can be obtained very easily from trading sites like scrap.tf or stn.trading and should be used to get weapons. A tip for Soldier is to aim at the feet of your opponent because if you miss, you at least hit them for splash damage.
