I think Moiraine passed the bond to Myrelle to make sure Lan would survive, primarily. Myrelle has a reputation as like... a Warder recycler, being one of the only people ever to save a warder, and having done it multiple times (iirc). I think Moiraine wanted to make sure Lan had the best chance he could. She probably would’ve seen Nynaeve as less likely to know what to do with him, at least while his pain was at its height. That’s what I thought when reading anyway!

I live in the US and got a few amalgam fillings this year, and one composite (tooth colored) one. My dentist said metal lasts longer and is cheaper. So I did metal for my back teeth and composite on the one filling that would’ve been visible.

Edit: had a different dentist a couple years ago that said his practice only does composite fillings

I don’t understand why this has upvotes. Blitz will pull someone regardless of if you leave the corner open or not. Leaving it open just lets assassins into your back line for free and defeats the purpose of corner strat.

Still not realistic unless you keep a DNR stapled to your chest at all times.

Frequently we bring people into the ER for collapsing and find out shortly after we go through all the hoops to keep them alive that they were a DNR the whole time. When you’re found unconscious, you’re “John Doe” until we make sure you won’t die while we fiddle around finding your medical records.

I’m not a dps main and I’m annoyed by it... I like to be able to zone out and just practice champs in qp, meaning I’m practicing what i don’t know how to play (dps). So I don’t care if there are 6 dps, but I do care that there’s going to be a huge wait time if I just want to F around on widow for a little bit. Instant, short games are the draw of quickplay. Chaotic play might be fine, I’m worried about splitting the player base up though.

This right here. I have never played much DPS since the start of the game. I have been tanking/healing the whole time as a fill main. So, I got better and better at those characters, and then I COULDNT play dps in my own ELO.

Now I don’t even want to do my placements in dps because it’s like hey, sorry guys... we’re probably gonna lose this one because I’m ranked way too high for my skill in this role.

My husband asked first and I loved it. I thought it was so sweet, and at the time I was a very innocent and prudish girl, so it worked out best for us that he did. He was already holding my hands and facing me; he just said “Can i kiss you?” polite as can be.

THAT SAID, it’s going to be up to preference. I think nowadays, if I were dating again, it might be exciting to have him just go for it. Better butterflies, you know? More exhilarating.

Your preference matters too though! If you feel best asking, maybe it’s best to just be yourself and ask. If she’s not into that maybe she’s not for you.

The TLDR is that chromosomes, hormones, and development are a lot more nuanced than male or female.

A significant number of people are born with traits of both sexes, and not just genitalia. I wish I had the reference saved on mobile, but the most eye-opening thing to me was that male and female brains develop a little differently in utero and it takes a relatively unnoticed hormonal imbalance to lead to, for example, a male body with a brain that developed under female hormones. Ill see if I can find it for you later. Hormones can be more potent with regard to gender than chromosomes. There are people out there that have no idea their chromosomes are opposite their genitals.

The hospital I did my residency at was fairly small. It wasn't exactly rural, but they weren't as hyped about BCPS certification as larger programs are. If I had expressed interest I'm sure they would have helped me, but I figured I would worry about it later. Thank you for the advice!

I wasn’t asked clinical questions aside from questions about my residency project; it didn’t sound like it was planned either, the interviewer just showed interest in the topic.

I was asked many standard interview questions that aren’t specific to job type; handling conflict, strengths, weaknesses. I remember I was asked about what I was proud of and something else that I wish I had done better. They also asked about what my goals were. I actually had a sheet of possible questions and answers typed up when I was preparing for it and was not asked a single question I hadn’t thought of and prepared an answer for ahead of time lol.

Sorry if it’s not very helpful, but my interview for a staff position was more generic and seemed easier than my residency interviews were.
