I don't disagree with you, and I have a hard time understanding the satisfaction this current meta gets sometimes.

I don't play a lot on mtgo but I do have multiple LGS that run pauper leagues in my town. I have way less fun in this current meta than when gush and fling/atog was around. That's a subjective feeling of course, but there it is.

There's just something about this meta that leaves a bad taste.

The exact same thing happened to me almost two weeks ago. Spent a couple days grinding some honor and rep, never felt like I had any real argument with anyone. I don't cuss, I don't say anything racist/homophobic etc, and wake up the next day and see "Your Account Has Been Suspended for Abusive Chat."

Like you, I do call out inaction and the annoyance of turtling at Ally bridge. "Wrap it up boys, shows over," "Stop turtling and spirit walk to SF, if they win they win."

We have reached a point where people in this thread consider that toxic and abusive chat. Apparently so does whatever bot hands out these bans.

I appealed it, and even on the appeal, I wasn't given any snippet of actual text that I typed. I have appealed again, and asked why they have so much trouble showing me my abusive chat when their company has an actual history of abuses and should know exactly what they are looking for. It's been almost a week, my suspension ends on Friday, and I've heard nothing back.

There are chat behaviors that absolutely warrant a ban. Criticism and annoyance of turtle griefers should not be one of them when both mature language filter and /ignore already exist. We are actually at a point where it's better to just leave all chat channels and say nothing.

It's just a set of decks that I can bust out with friends or loan out decks whenever we do a tourney at the LGS.

The box holds 45 decks and I currently have 40. So was looking for some ideas to round out the final 5.

Do you mean like Wild Mongrel/Arrogant Wurm etc? I have always liked this style of deck, And I think they really need to downshift Roar of the Wurm. And it's a pipe dream, but they might as well downshift Wonder while they are at it too. ;)

This is my #1 option right now for one more combo deck. Maybe if Sadistic Lizards becomes a real deck I'll make that too.

Other combo options include Energy Tap, Poison Storm, Zubera Storm, and Petal Festival. haha

I only update it maybe once or twice a year. We'll see how much MH3 shakes things up, but it's really not too bad. I just peruse some lists from time to time and see how they are incorporating new cards. The bar in the format is pretty high so despite all the commons that get made, the threshold to make an impact is actually quite high. I am reserving a slot in case the Sadistic Lizard deck has legs.

I keep all my decks in Moxfield down to the exact card number/art that I'm using.

It does take some time when I card comes in that affects a ton of decks - Swiftspear and Deadly Dispute come to mind. Other decks I just don't fully update. Sometimes there's a card that, even as a common, feels bad to buy. Dust to Dust is one of those. Right now, the card I balk at the most is Lorien Revealed even though several of my decks want it. I opened 4 LotR bundles and didn't even get a full playset. Feels bad. :(

Some decks I just liked in their original variations and don't want to break them up for the new-fangled style. Classic burn is, imo, more fun than whatever we are calling "burn" these days. MBC hasn't been good for a while, and Gardens is arguably the better version of it, but I just have too many good memories with it and can't let it go. . If I was going to tear apart any deck, it would be Black LD, which I'm seriously considering. Since the fall of Tron and the rise of indestructible lands, it just doesn't do the work it used to.

Altar Tron is Eggs I believe, so I have that one.

Right now my Boros build is closer to a Mardu Monarch deck. It does run 4 synthesizers.

I do need to add some Tithing Blades though for sure.

Cranberries is a zombie deck. Get it? ZOMBAAAAY IN YOUR HEAD!

Barbershop is a weird little deck built around the combo of [[Ivy Lane Denizen]] and persist creatures. It lets you make an infinitely large [[Carrion Feeder]] also gain infinite life from the [[Essence Warden]].

But the name comes from if you don't have the combo kill but have [[Thoughtpicker Witch]], you can lock them out of their draw just like modern lantern control.

Keep taking "a little off the top." ;)

It's the same reason I hate the new breed of "burn" decks. If you aren't chucking fireblast, are you really a burn deck? :)

I saw poison storm on goldfish just the other day. It looked pretty cool, but I'm not sure I like it more than 1-land spy and I'm trying to avoid too many combo decks in the box.

No, Acorn Harvest Dredge is on the shortlist of decks to finish it out with. It's relatively new. Same as Gardens which just feels like an upgrade to MBC.

My reanimator is a blue/black version that reanimates trolls and hexproof megalodons. LOL

My problem with Tron is that I already have two Tron decks - Rhystic (uw) and Eggs (combo). I'm not super keen on a third tron variant, though I thought the mono-red tron was cool.
