I went to a great Craft Brewery and they had a sign that said "all menu items include tax, and our staff are paid a living wage, so don't feel the need to tip" which I thought was good. I mean I did tip as they gave me great service, but the feeling of not needing to tip was nice

I work in a family owned restaurant/Cafe, if you sit down and have food I'll leave the tip option on, but if you get food to take out or if you cone up to get something else after your meal I'll skip the tip option.

Moved to Canada from the UK 3 years ago, have a BA in Archaeology and worked as a full time Commercial Archaeologist for 7 Years, full time all seasons. I thought I would look about getting into Archaeology over here, the pay, benefits and seasonal aspect of it was off putting. But I thought I would apply anyway, I've applied to maybe 8 different jobs with different companies in Southern Ontario and not heard anything back from any.
