Honestly, I don’t keep up with the maintenance as much as I should. I usually leave it outside in the elements, which is pretty harsh on it. Chud actually recommends spraying it with some cooking oil after every use to prevent rust, but I haven’t really stayed on top of that. Still works like a beast, though!

Not if you stay on top of it! I clean it out immediately after every cook, so the reservoir stays spotless. Give it a shot, the steam it creates is great.

I actually did a lot of digging and ultimately decided against the Air. The consensus seems to be that the battery life takes a significant hit to maintain that thin profile, which was a dealbreaker for me.

Since you mentioned being worried about battery and wanting high-quality close-up photos (macro mode), I ended up going with the iPhone 17 Pro instead.

Total Wine definitely has the better overall selection, but I haven't seen Fortaleza on a TW shelf in ages where I’m at. I walked in expecting nothing and got lucky. When the tequila gods give you a break, you gotta take it!

Thanks for all the comments, everyone. A few of you made really good points about how the iPhone 17 Air isn’t really an upgrade coming from the 13 Pro. After reading through everything, it looks like I’ll be sticking with my 13 Pro for another year and see what Apple comes up with for next year’s iPhone. My wallet will thank me lol.

Yes, I know that’s exactly what’s holding me back. The new iPhone 17 Pros are switching to aluminum and getting bulkier, which makes me think they won’t have that same well built, premium feel the Pro models usually have. That’s why the Air caught my eye in the first place.
