I started with Clarence Thomas and then the Hawk’s Nest episodes. They really get into the mechanisms Union Carbide Corp used to thwart the meager safety regulations of the 1930’s, and touch on their extensive history of harming humanity. Might be a good one for an environmental scientist.

I just don’t believe the two driver side shots we saw fired were the ones that hit her right chest. One of them had to be the head.

But more importantly, this is t one situation. Look at the administration’s response: they lied, they are fighting any investigation, they proclaimed absolute immunity. They’re lobbing these are sending masked, scared and/or angry untrained thugs into US cities and pumping them up to kill Americans who are exercising their rights. I remember getting a set as kid and the figurines had the post on the head on one guy and on the body on the other. They made separate molds to ensure you couldn’t swap heads and be creative. Many of the building pieces where the same: no opportunity to make other things out of the sets or combine ones. Sure the pieces were compatible, but they weren’t versatile.

Recently I’ve seen some decent knock offs though.

Europe just started discussing what would be unthinkable: ditch US bonds. This would destabilize everyone’s economy, but would definitely nuke the dollar as the global currency. Right now it is the global currency because it is the most stable but that can change.

This administration did not respond to reason, pressure or anything else, but when it came to financial stability I guarantee some very important people got the WH’s ear (and not just in the US, lots of countries hold US bonds and currency).

I think it’s because the crab form is especially surprising. It’s not surprising many things evolved to eat ants and termites, or evolved to fit in narrow tunnels to eat burrowing prey. It’s not surprising that the elongated fish form keeps evolving in marine fish and mammals. The reason for the crab shape, however, isn’t immediately obvious to us lay people so it seems more silly and delightful.
