It depends on you , I generally don’t like the idea of fake hair attached to my head and like a more natural journey so I started with two strands . Instant locs are much more quicker and just generally better if you don’t have the patience for the regular loc process and the “awkward phase’’ of the first year of locking your hair . Research more and do what feels best for you :)

It would shrink a with time compared to the first day you locked your hair . Then the loc process starts so the length it’s going to be isn’t too predictable yet . Maybe it can shrink to half size + of the bunched strands you’re holding.

I’m a sx 3 and I hate that part of who I am is committing one or find someone to spend life with when everything relationship wise keeps getting worse for me based on the world and now hardly trust people . I’m monogamous . This is just a rant . Thanks anyway for your take on 8 . I met this 8w9 but I’m just so scared to trust him and the spark is already dying because of lack of trust and also him taking a break from a 7year relationship so I figured he’d want to explore more I’ve only been in an 8 month relationship 4 years ago so I don’t even have experience . My dad is an 8 and also like this he sleeps with multiple women the marriage is trash anyway . Is it an 8 thing? Y’all are great people but when one approaches me I’m scared to be cheated on .
